Facebook Games

My grandmother and Aunties believed in playing games to share time together with family, friends or strangers. Every time we get together, the cards would come out and if we wanted a change it would something with Dice.

Either way I learnt from experiencing some happy memories due to the games we shared.

Now there is Facebook games. I love Collaspe & Farmville the best and I have meet some really neat friends from my Farmville neighbours. Most are really happy people and we all wish each other well in our accomplishments or celebrations.

I went to a webinar the other day & listened to a point of view that surprised me. It was said that “people judge you by having facebook games all over your wall”.

And guess what! I went straight to my page and deleted the game applications.

Then I thought about why I play them, Why do I spend my time there etc etc etc.
I looked at all the happy & positive people I had as friends, I looked at my amazing children & their friends and I realised I only got to know them though playing games on facebook.
No matter what game I play, the team members of that application help each other to obtain goals.
We even spur each other on as a group. We like each other’s comments or status it goes on and on.

I like the vast age range I have as well, It provides constant stimulation for me.

I also get to have good relationships with my family where we play games and message each other at least weekly, it creates healthy bonding.

I remember travelling on a bus across the Australian bite and I pulled out a pack of cards to teach other passengers Skip-bo. Everyone I introduced to that game enjoyed themselves and attracted other people to play. So I meet more people and quickly passed away the Kilometres.

It was my grandmother taking her time to play with me and my mother for buying the countless games that I have to thank. As not only is it a tool to enjoy people’s company with, but something that creates long lasting pleasant memories.

So tell me, why would someone want to judge me simply because I play facebook games?

I'd be intested in your comment.

Keep playing those games!
